The Montgomery County Farmers Association was formed to create a unified voice for the thousands of individuals who make their living in agriculture across the county. With more than 10,000 people working in farming and related industries, agriculture remains a vital part of Montgomery County’s economy, landscape, and identity.
Our members represent the full diversity of the local agricultural community, including livestock and dairy operations, crop producers, wineries, value-added producers, hydroponic growers, beekeepers, flower producers, and more. Despite the diversity of our work, we share common challenges and a common goal: to ensure that farming remains viable, sustainable, and supported for generations to come.
The Association exists to advocate for policies that reflect the realities of modern farming, provide guidance through complex regulatory and land use issues, and strengthen connections between farmers, markets, and the broader community. By working together, we aim to protect the future of agriculture in Montgomery County and support those who dedicate their lives to it.
